Q. How can I find newspaper articles?
You have a couple of options available to find newspaper articles.
One option is to enter your search words or phrases in the Discover! search box on the Ivy Tech Library - Lafayette home page. On your results page look at the right column under the section titled Source Type and choose News. You will then get results from newspapers plus online news and wire services.
Another option is to choose the A-Z Resources link on the home page of the library Ivy Tech Library - Lafayette. Click on the link for EBSCOhost Databases. Remove the check mark from the Academic Search Complete box. Place check marks in the boxes for McClatchy-Tribune Collection and Newspaper Source Plus. To include newswire services (ie Associated Press) and web news (ie Google News) also check the box for Newswires. Click on Continue and be sure and put a check in the box that says Full Text under Limit Your Results. Enter whatever search words or phrases you want in the search box to find newspaper articles on your topic.
