TEAS Test Prep

The Test of Essential Academic Skills (TEAS) is a scholastic aptitude assessment that is developed by Assessment Technology Institute (ATI). The test is written on a tweltfth-grade level. The ATI testing (TEAS publisher) recommend high school text books for more in-depth study on specific subjects.

Find suggested materials at our TEAS test prep page.

The Lawrence Library has many different version of TEAS test prep books: everything from the official ATI book to Kaplan materials and flash cards. The Downtown Indianapolis Library also has books available for checkout.

Taking a few practice tests may give you an idea of what areas to work on. Learning Express is an online tool that helps students prepare for many types of entrance exams. To find TEAS materials, choose the Career Preparation from the homepage, then Prepare for an Entrance Exam, followed by Nursing School Practice Entrance Tests. You will find practice tests for different sections of the TEAS, including biology, chemistry, general science, math, and reading.
