When you log in to the Ivy Tech libraries, you may be asked for a login and PIN number when you search IvyCat.

The login  is your C number.

 

How to Create Your Ivy Tech Library Pin

One-time setup

This will allow you to see:

  • Personal Information
  • Checkouts
  • Holds (up and coming feature)
  • Fines
  • Only checkouts and holds through Ivy Tech libraries other than Columbus

1. Log in to "MyIvy"

2. On the left side of the screen, click on "Library"

3. Click on "IvyCat" (this is the IvyTech catalog)

9. Click on the “recover your PIN” link. This will allow you to create your PIN. 

10.  Enter you C Number, enter your chosen “New Library PIN” number, confirm your “New Library PIN”, click “Update”

Personal Information

The “Personal Information” tab will allow you to see your personal information. You can change your library PIN and set your preferences.

If you are using an Ivy Tech Library other than Columbus, you will be able create holds, see what books you have checked out, and what fines you may have accrued.  In Columbus, circulation is managed through IUPUC's system.  To search for hard-copy books in our library, click on IUCAT.  Otherwise, electronic books and journals are in the Ivy Tech library system, use Discover! or the journal databases.
