Where do I find job and career research?

First try the Occupational Outlook Handbook  http://www.bls.gov/ooh/

The Bureau of Labor Statistics offers information on many careers, including education requirements, pay, projected number of new jobs, and job growth rates. Similar information can be found at Career One Stop and O*NET Online

Also try looking in our e-books for specific careers. Search in Ebook Central using terms for your career of choice (career nurse or nursing, for example).

Journal and magazine articles about careers can be found in Business, Finance & Economics Reference, and Vocational and Career Collection. Try searching for information about the career of your choice there as well.
