Q. Where can I find a newspaper?

The library carries print versions of several newspapers, if you'd like to view a physical copy. If you are looking for an electronic version, you have a few options.

The easiest way to find a specific newspaper is to type the title of the paper into our Discover! search from our homepage. For example, if you search "Indianapolis Star" you will find links to access the full text of articles from different years.

You can also search through Discover! by keyword. For example, if you're looking for news articles on the Zika virus, you can search by typing in "zika". Then on the results screen, use the limiter to narrow your search. Scroll down to "Resource Type" and check the box for News.

We also have access to newspapers through different databases. From our homepage, click the Quick Link in the right sidebar for the A-Z List. Databases with newspaper results are Indianapolis Star, LexisNexis Academic, Newspaper Source, and Newswires.
